Johnny Lever has opened up about the differences he observed between superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

Chatting with Ranveer Allahbadia for a YouTube interview, the comedian reflected on his relationship with previous co-stars and revealed what it like was to work with the DDLJ lead SRK.

“Both of us worked in Baazigar. Before that, he came in Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. But at that time, he wasn’t that famous. People used to know me more than him during the shoot. I was a star at that time and SRK was upcoming,” Johnny said.

He added, “Both him and Akshay Kumar are hardworking but there’s a difference. SRK was weak in on-screen fighting and dancing. When we were doing Karan Arjun, Salman had perfect takes, and there would be retakes because of SRK, so Salman would mock him.”

Explaining that the contrast between Akshay and SRK is that the latter perfected himself to the point that he became Bollywood's beloved, Johnny stated, “That man has worked and made himself a star. He is now a pro in dance, he can fight too.”

Moving on to Salman, he remarked that the celebrity is quite moody.

“He is free and doesn’t take much tension. He is a great guy, but busy in his own world,” the comedian disclosed.

According to him, SRK is interested in discussing his character with the makers whereas Salman mostly stays carefree.

“So, it’s about the nature,” Johnny concluded.
