Mahira Khan shared a heartfelt note for her 17-year-old son Azlan, who she shares with ex-husband Ali Askari.
Taking to her Instagram story on Wednesday, the Verna actress shared a post, which was written from a mother’s point of view, to reflect on how their roles switched from when he was a little baby and now.
“My son, I used to have to bend down to pick you up. your little arms reached up for me your chubby fingers stretched wide,” the inspiring quote began.
It continued, “now, I have to tilt my head upwards and I'm not sure when that happened. we used to sit and play with tiny cars and now you help me carry in groceries and make me laugh until I cry.”
The post further added, “you have taught me so much about life and myself. we grew together, you and I. thank you for the most beautiful journey I have been on.”
Mahira Khan welcomed Azlan in 2009, with ex-husband Ali Askari, whom she got married to in 2007, and parted ways with in 2015.
The Humsafar actress tied the knot for the second time with Salim Karim in 2023.
