Gigi Hadid said bye-bye to her golden locks in favour for a short stylish look as the seasons begin to change.

The supermodel took to her Instagram handle to share a glimpse into how her signature waist-length was being give a special treatment by hair stylist Chris McMillan, known for Jennifer Aniston’s famous ’90s cut, known as ‘The Rachel.’

The short reel was set to the tune of Loretta Lynn’s Act Naturally and captioned, “Dinner and a chop.” The video clip documented the whole hair transformation process.

“New cut for @gigihadid,” McMillan shared via Instagram on Saturday. “Loved collaborating with Gigi on this new cut Cant wait to see the journey of styles the hairdressers working with this cut will do,” adding a scissors and heart emoji.

Meanwhile, Hadid then showed off her hairdo in full sunshine as she began shooting for her clothing brand, Guest in Residence.

In the first image, the model stood in front of a tree wearing a grey knit polo top showing off her freshly cut bob. In the next one, she was soaking up the sunshine while wearing a cardigan, spaghetti strap top and jeans.

In the final image, she sported a colourful number as she was dressed in a yellow shirt, pink and maroon striped cardigan and layered seashell necklaces.

“sunshine & my new ‘do ! shooting spring @guestinresidence with loves of mine @patrickta @laurapolko,” she wrote alongside the images of her in her new range.

The new look comes after the mom of three-year-old daughter Khai, whom she shares with ex Zayn Malik revealed how she doesn't care much about hair and makeup after embracing motherhood.

“I’ve really simplified my routine to just the necessities of the necessities,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in 2021.

“Obviously when I’m working, I do more. But when I’m home, I’m on mom duty full-time. I wake up in the morning, wash my face, moisturize, put on deodorant, and love to add a fragrance. But if I don’t have time, I’m not going to wear makeup. My hair is [also] always in a bun so it doesn’t get pulled out.”
