Pakistan’s renowned actress Sajal Ali is all set to receive Tamgha-e-Imtiaz on 23rd March, 2024, which is celebrated as Pakistan’s Resolution Day.
As reported by The Express Tribune, the Kuch Ankahi actress, who made her name in the showbiz industry at a very young age, with her impeccable acting skills and beautiful looks will be honoured with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz at the Governor House in Punjab on Saturday.
Speaking to the outlet regarding her new milestone, Sajal expressed, “It’s a great honour for me to receive this prestigious recognition. It feels like just yesterday I had entered the industry and to be honest, it feels surreal. I am grateful to my fraternity, fans and family for their constant support.”
Sajal Ali made her debut on the small screen in 2009, with a minor role in GEO TV’s popular sitcom, Nadaaniyaan.
She subsequently landed a role in the family drama Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain, which was aired in 2011, and gave Sajal a major career boost.
Since then, Sajal Ali has impressed the audience with her stellar performance in back-to-back hit dramas like, Gul-e-Rana, Aagan, O Rangreza, Alif, Behadd, and Yaqeen Ka Safar.
The actress has also worked internationally, with Imran Khan’s former wife and UK’s producer Jemima Goldsmith in her film, What’s Love Got To Do With It?.
She has also worked alongside late Indian actress, Siri Devi in Mom, which was released in 2017.
