Cameron Diaz took her fans by surprise as she welcomes a baby boy named Cardinal at the age of 51, with her musician husband Benji Madden.
Diaz turned to her Instagram account on Friday to share the good news with her fans using an artwork, featuring half face of a boy and the words, “a little bird whispered to me” written on it.
Alongside the drawing was a sweet caption in which Diaz noted, “We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our Son, Cardinal Madden.”
Gushing over her son Cameron Diaz spilled the reason of not sharing Cardinal’s pictures, “He is awesome and We are all so happy he is here! For the kids safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures- but he’s a really cute. We are feeling so blessed and grateful. Sending much love from our fam to yours. Best wishes and Good Afternoon!! (sic)."
Reacting to the good news, Cameron Diaz’s fans extended congratulations and warms wishes for the couple as one user noted, “Congratulations. Wonderful news. Thanks for sharing.”
While another noted, “Omg congratulations I’m so happy for you and your family.”

To note, Diaz and Madden, who have been married since 2015, welcomed baby boy Cardinal nearly four years after their first child, daughter Raddix, in 2020.
