Mahira Khan ‘didn’t want to pose with Salim Karim’ before their 'Nikah'

Mahira Khan spilled major beans on how she ended up clicking the perfect sunset photo with husband Salim Karim on their dreamy Bhurban wedding, last year.

During a recent interview with Aamna Haider Isaani for her YouTube channel AHI, the Humsafar actress admitted that she did not want to pose with Salim until she had signed their nikah papers.

Mahira said, “I wasn’t aware that wedding photographers typically capture moments before the nikah ceremony, either at the studio or the wedding venue, and I wasn't prepared for it."

She went on to share, “I said I cannot shoot with Salim, before we signed the Nikah, he should see me afterwards, so that’s what I wanted”

The Razia actress explained how she walked down the stairs to the helipad in a wedding gown and then reached to the point where Salim was sitting.

"So when the moment arrived, I was on one side, he was on the other, peering through his Sehra, and I had my veil. We signed the papers, I approached him, and he saw me for the first time. That's exactly what I desired," Mahira told Aamna.

However, the Verna actress confessed that the thought of clicking photos completely slipped her mind, when she finally met her husband-to-be.

"My team and photographers rushed over because the sun was setting,” recalled Mahira Khan while revealing how they all rushed to a nearby cliff to capture the breathtaking sunset shots with her husband Salim, moments before the light was finally gone.

For the unversed, Mahira Khan tied the knot with Salim Karim, last year in October in an intimate ceremony with close friends and family members.
