Cole Brings Plenty has been found dead at just the age of 27.
He famously starred in Yellowstone’s spinoff, 1923, and had gone missing earlier this week before his body was found devoid of life in Johnson County, Kansas, on April 5.
As per a statement shared on behalf of the area’s sheriff, deputies had gone to check an idle automobile, where they “discovered a deceased male in a wooded area away from the vehicle,” who was then identified as Cole.
Since this case is still open for investigation, the main cause of death hasn’t been shared yet.
The actor’s uncle and Yellowstone star, Moses Brings Plenty, had said in an announcement that his nephew had last been spotted in Lawrence, Kansas on March 31.
In the same social media post, he had asked fans for assistance in finding the young star.
On the next day, police department from Lawrence Kansas had registered an alleged domestic violence case that took place at an apartment complex on March 31.
Cole was noted down as the main suspect, but he had fled the scene before officers arrived, eventually being captured by traffic cameras while driving away.
“Officers responded to reports of a female screaming for help, but the suspect fled before officers arrived,” the police informed.
Other details from this unfortunate incident haven’t been released to protect the victim.
Following this news, Moses uploaded a statement penned by Cole’s family on his Instagram, dated Friday.
