King Charles and Queen Camilla honored late Queen Elizabeth’s 98th birthday by saying a prayer on April 21, 2024.

The couple is currently busy spending some alone time in Scotland, and was photographed walking out of a church service organized at Crathie Kirk, which is situated near Balmoral Castle.

According to People Magazine, Charles took the steering wheel for driving themselves to the destination as they smiled and waved as onlookers watched eagerly.

Following the duo’s time at the religious act, the media portal stated that he likely celebrated his mother in private after having returned home.

Elizabeth had died at the age of 96 on September 8, 2022, just four years before hitting a century.

Grant Harrold, who served Charles and Camilla from 2004 to 2011, informed that they “won’t publicly do anything,” but pay a tribute backstage.

He said, “Privately, I have no doubt they’ll raise a toast to her in the evening. I’m sure the day will very much be spent reflecting on the late Queen. I can almost guarantee.”

“If you were to go to Windsor Castle that day, it’s very likely there’ll be some flowers on the tomb that have been sent by family members. Sometimes on royal anniversaries, flowers are sent to royal graves,” the helper affirmed.
