Mahira Khan finally offered a peek into her empowering speech from the recent Emigala awards, where she received the honour of Artist in Fashion.
Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday, the Humsafar actress shared a carousel featuring iconic her photos and a video of a heartfelt acceptance speech.
Mahira begins in her speech, “When women support other women... when generally people support other people…stuff of miracles happen... the magic happens.”
She continued, “We think that we should take something and keep it to ourselves but actually the magic happens when we give it away.”
“My entire life's purpose was to see myself on the big screen... And I hope to do that till the day I die..But I think the other purpose of my life, would be which my parents has also taught is 'paying it forward.”
Mahira Khan concluded her speech with gratitude towards Dr Michel Dahr as she thanked her for the honour.
Alongside the post was a sweet caption that read, “On nights like these.. I feel insane amount of gratitude. For life, for courage, for my family, my friends, my fans.. for big mercies and especially for the tender ones. Alhumdulillah.”
