King Charle’s niece, Zara Tindall, couldn’t hold excitement back any longer when the two united after a while.
The 42-year-old is Princess Anne’s daughter, who went on to break an incredibly strict royal protocol because of being overjoyed.
It was on Friday, May 3, that she greeted her uncle at the Royal Windsor Horse Show taking place in Berkshire, England.
Catching King Charles’ sight, Zara Tindall threw the long-followed security tradition in the bin and just pulled him in for a great big hug, even blurting out an emotional, “Ah, Uncle Charles!” as they embraced each other.
According to Us Weekly, there isn’t an actual “ban on being tactile with the Monarch,” but the British School of Excellence says that a person with no royal title can’t touch the queen or the king.
As noted in Queen Elizabeth II’s life, she was very rarely squeezed by someone from the public. One important sighting was when First Lady Michelle Obama had clutched her in 2009.
On the other hand, Zara Tindall and her brother, Peter Phillips, grew up without royal titles as their parents wanted to give them a normal childhood.
But since they’re children of King Charles’ only sister, Princess Anne, this heart stirring mistake isn’t held against her by him.
