Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes may be Hollywood stars, but in the eyes of their children, they're just mom and dad.

During his conversation with PEOPLE, the Barbie star shared that his daughters Esmeralda Amada, 9, and Amada Lee, 8, “don’t care” that their parents are famous.

Gosling shared that “there is nothing” he or Mendes could do would change the way their children see them - simply as their parents

He added, “Eva was on an episode of Bluey,” revealing their daughters are huge fans of ABC Kids animated hit, “We both thought it was going to be huge.”

However, Mendes received no response from the two children.

"They did not like it," he explained. "They were like, 'Fast-forward through that part!'"

Despite their distaste for their parents' Hollywood fame, the children remain interested and involved in his worh.

Earlier, Gosling shared that his daughters learned his I’m Just Ken choreography from Barbie.

He also mentioned that in his film The Fall Guy, his children have firmly restricted him from performing any risky stunts.

“My kids didn't want me to be set on fire,” said the producer-star. “They were like, ‘No. No fire.’ So I didn't do it.”

Ryan Gosling appeared in action-romance film The Fall Guy with Emily Blunt, the film released in theaters on May 03, 2024.
