India’s T20 World Cup ‘leaked’ jersey picture went viral on the internet and has sent social media into frenzy.

Indian cricket fans have been eagerly waiting for the kit to be unveiled since the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squad for the big event.

According to Hindustan Times, ever since the BCCI has got Adidas on board as the official kit sponsors, Addidas have been making different kits for the team in both formats.

The ODI jersey is collared, and shows the tiger’s stripes meanwhile the T20 jersey symbolizes the Indian flag’s symbol ‘Ashoka Chakra’ (Ashoka’s wheel). Both jerseys have stripes on the shoulder.

In the alleged leaked photo, the jersey has a v-shaped neck with tri-colour, green, white and orange stripes on it and saffron sleeves with the trademark Adidas stripes.

The leaked jersey has taken the internet by storm. Cricket fans instantly reacted to the pictures but majority of the fans were disappointed with the new jersey.

Reacting to the leaked photo, one fan commented, “Not good,” while another fan called it “Worst.

The third user mocked, “training kit.”

On April 30, the BCCI announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in June with Rohit Sharma leading the team as the captain.
