David Corenswet’s first look as the next face for superman has been unveiled by DC Studios CEO, James Gunn.

The picture shared showed him in the signature crimson cape paired alongside a blue suit embedded with the classic shield, known as the Man of Steel’s logo.

But this time, the “S” in it has been no longer curled, giving the garb a modern take.

Seemingly, the actor was leaving for another day of crime-fighting as he was photographed putting on a signature red boot in his residence.

Fans noted that the costume was worn and torn from numerous sides, proposing that David Corenswet will be seen spending some tough moments safeguarding the city, making Superman packed with some highly explosive action sequences.

Despite giving it quite a few present-day twists, the movie hasn’t ignored any subtleties associated with the superhero since its lead was still adorned in sleek slick-back hair.

When floating the shot, James Gunn announced that his production will release in theatres on July 11, 2025.

He wrote, “Get ready. Superman. 7.11.25,” bringing followers to the edge of their seats.

“The above photo was taken on set by Jess Miglio and was entirely in-camera,” the filmmaker added for clarity.
