King Charles’ new title for Prince William crushes Prince Harry's hopes

King Charles handed new military role to Prince William instead of Prince Harry after recent snub

King Charles dealt a brand-new blow to Prince Harry while he is still reeling from meeting snub.

In a surprising move, the 75-year-old monarch, who first refused to meet the Duke of the Sussex during his visit to UK gave a new military role to Prince William, which would have gone to Prince Harry.

The royal expert Katie Nicholl in her exclusive conversation with Entertainment Tonight dubbed King Charles’ latest move as a ‘slap’ in Harry’s face.

Referring to Harry’s military service during Afghanistan war, Katie said, “For many years he served two tours in Afghanistan"

She went on to explain, "You know, the timing is curious. I think many people will see that as a bit of a snub, really, from the palace, and perhaps a little bit of a poke in the ribs to Prince Harry."

Prince William’s appointment as Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps came just hours after Harry arrived in the UK on May 8, 2024, for the thanksgiving service at the Invictus Games 10th anniversary.

The royal expert noted, "Yes, he's over here part of the Invictus community celebrating 10 years, but he's been stripped of his right to wear his military uniform.”

She continued, "And now his brother's taken over the role that I think Harry would have expected to have come to him, I think it's probably another slap in the face for Prince Harry, and yet another reminder that he's very much out rather than in when it comes to the royal family.”
