David Beckham spills beans on ‘Spice Girls’ reunion at Victoria’s birthday bash

‘Spice Girls’ reunited at Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday celebration

David Beckham shared a surprising revelation about his wife Victoria Beckham's 50th birthday celebration.

During the conversation at Jimmy Kimmel Live, the former captain of England football team expressed his astonishment at the unexpected reunion of the Spice Girls during his wife’s birthday.

David shared that he organised the event and shared, “It's actually been 12 years since they did the Olympics in the U.K. but over 15 years since they actually were on a stage together. So obviously having them all there that night, and I didn't expect them to all get up on stage,"

He added, "But I had a whole video planned where me and my kids recreated the 'Mama' video. My son, who plays the guitar and sings, had a song, and he sang 'Mama,' and all of a sudden all the girls got up — and I'm their biggest fan, you know? I tend not to tell my wife that.

The father of four further noted, “I tend to tell her that I fancied her, but she was a Spice Girl. I love that about her... So I was a fan."

To note, Victoria celebrated her milestone birthday with a star-studded party in London on, April 20.

Spice Girl consisting of Melanie "Mel B" Brown, Melanie "Mel C" Chisolm, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell Horner and Victoria Beckham gave a nostalgic performance at the event.
