In the viral trailer, the Die For You crooner can be seen recalling the original Broadway cast of Wicked when she was a kid.
In one clip, the Wicked director Jon M. Chu told the American singer that he wants her to be his “Glinda the Good,” to which Ariana started crying.
The Bang Bang artist accepted the role and said, “Thank you; I love her so much. I'm going to take such good care of her.”
Shortly after the much awaited trailer came out, enthusiastic fans could not hold their excitement and they started flooding the comment section under the trailer.
A fan commented, “The world isn't ready. And by the world I mean me. You're gonna have to give me oxygen to get me thru.”
