
Kevin Costner has paid a touching tribute to his Yellowstone co-star Dabney Coleman, who passed away at the age of 92.
Taking to an Instagram story section on Saturday, The Bodyguard star penned a heartfelt note in remembrance of his co-star's short stint in Yellowstone.
He posted a series of memorable snaps with Coleman along with a touching note, "One of the most heart wrenching scenes I've been a part of."
Costner added, "What an honor to have gotten to work with Dabney Coleman. May he rest in peace."
Coleman's starred in a single 2019 episode of the modern Western series.
He played the role of Costner's character's father, John Dutton Sr.
But his character had an impact as it depicts the bond between a father and his son, uncovering the reason behind Costner's character's strong resistance to selling any of his Montana lands.
However, Coleman's daughter Quincy Coleman has confirmed his father's death that he died on May 16 at his home in Santa Monica, Calif.
Dabney Coleman gained fame for his portrayals of antagonistic and tough characters in films such as You've Got Mail and 9 to 5, as well as in Tootsie.
Additionally, he showcased his talent in television shows like Boardwalk Empire and Buffalo Bill.
