Bella Hadid, who is known for her bold fashion choices, has again stepped out in keffiyeh-inspired dress to show solidarity to Palestinian people at Cannes.
During her appearance at 77th Cannes Film Festival, the model boldly advocated for the freedom of Palestine with her red and white checked keffiyeh dress with tassels styled with a red heels, a hair scrunchie, gold hoops and tinted sunglasses.
Hadid, who frequently use her social media handles to speak for her heritage, has again shared multiple Instagram stories about it.
She reposted the picture of dress from designer’s account, and penned, “Free Palestine forever.”
While reposting another post, the princess of Nazareth explained the pattern on her dress, noting, “ Symbolism. The patterns on the Palestinian keffiyeh symbolize various themes: Olive leaves: Strength, resilience, Perseverance.”
“Fishnet: Connection between Palestinian sailors and the Mediterranean Sea and bold lines: trade routes going through Palestine, including the Silk Road,” she added.
This is not the first time Bella Hadid has made her stance known as she has been vocal about her support for Palestine since a long time.
Prior to this, Bella Hadid graced the Cannes with see-through YSL dress, and a black sparkly dress by Versace.
