Chicago Sky’s new recruit, Angel Reese, set down her first professional double-double on May 28.

She dusted the game with 11 scores and 12 rebounds against basketballers from Seattle Storm, and even though this triumph didn’t record a win for Chicago Sky, it still made for an impressive night.

As a rookie, it took Angel Reese only five matches to mark her first professional double-double.

Playing for LSU Tigers basketball group previously, recording double-doubles was nothing out of the ordinary for her, but knocking one up in her early WNBA career is surely an accomplished feat.

In the same game, she paved way for three assists and two steals within thirty minutes of stadium movement, as per Fastbreak.

Angel Reese had actually been very close to achieving this master stroke in the matches played before this one, albeit nearly missed it each time.

Looking back to all of her first five games for Chicago Sky, she has been credited with double figures in every round and for nine bounds in two different face-offs.

The newcomer is part of WNBA’s rookie class that’s expected to “revolutionize” the competition by peaking its interest for viewers.

Other members in this group are Cameron Brink, Jacy Sheldon, Caitlin Clark, and Kamilla Cardoso.
