Prince William breathes new life into his Earthshot Prize

Prince William summoned up the annual award for 2024

Prince William is bringing his grand Earthshot Prize back to the stateside!

Just today, on July 30, officials from the award as well as Bloomberg Philanthropies announced of co-hosting the third annual Innovation Summit for the competition on September 24 in New York City.

The Prince of Wales had launched this contest back in 2020 to promote environmentalism via more contributions, making it the world’s “most pressing challenge.”

Organizers have to pursue Earthshot Prize until 2030 annually with winners taking away £1 million through five flagship categories so they can sustain their impactful actions with the given fund.

However, it’s not yet known whether Prince William will be attending the upcoming conference for his self-established award as he did last year, as per People.

This is because the date finalized for the event falls in late September, when his children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis go back school following their summer holidays in Scotland.

Packing and unpacking things for their return to United Kingdom, and then subsequently organizing things for school is a loaded task.

And since Kate Middleton continues her cancer treatment, she probably can’t help out as much.
