Simone Biles gives a surprising yet humble reaction to becoming the most decorated US gymnast in the history of the Olympics.

According to NBC News, the whole world was keeping an eye on the record-breaking medal haul of the GOAT, but it was the last thing on her mind.

Biles after becoming the most decorated American artistic gymnast asserted, “I don't keep count; I don't keep stats. I just go out here and do what I'm supposed to, and I'm doing what I love and enjoying it."

Biles gave a surprising response when she was asked about achieving the historic milestone. She said, “Honestly, I would have had to Google that,” adding, “I don't think I'll truly understand the depth of it until I walk away from the sport.

To note, Biles has not made any announcement whether the Paris Olympics will be her last game or not.

The 27-year-old’s family, including her husband Jonathan Owens and her parents Ronald and Nellie, were in the stands to support Biles and her team in the finals of the Paris Games, People reported.

Later after the match, the gymnast took to her Instagram story to share a picture of her father sitting in the stands with her mother and husband wearing his binoculars.

She wrote, “My dad and his binoculars is soooo freaking cute.”

Moreover, Biles's husband was also wearing a special shirt featuring her various colorful photos and her last name emblazoned in large red letters in her support.
