Lily Allen hopped back to 2009 for detailing the time when she and Lindsay Lohan drunkenly got matching tattoos that turned out to be the one already sported by Rihanna’s finger!
The two pals had dodged her security guards by jumping over a wall of Chateau Marmont hotel to sneak out at night for partying together.
In the late 2000s, frequent photos of them boozing up at night bashes emerged as Lindsay Lohan had attracted plenty media coverage for dating Mark Ronson’s sister, Samantha Ronson.
“When I was in LA, I’d hang out with Lindsay Lohan. My managers had stationed my security outside my room, because they knew how much of a terrorist I was, in terms of partying,” Lily Allen recalled.
She added, “But Lindsay Lohan knew her way around the hotel! She climbed over the back wall of the hotel into my garden where my room was. She was like, 'Pst! Come on let’s go, this way!' ”
Then, the singer narrated on her podcast Miss Me? that these two chums escaped to Shamrock Tattoo Parlour to get inked with matching friendship tattoos that said “Shh” on their index fingers.
Lily Allen went on, “And I thought it was quite cool for like seven hours, until I woke up the next morning and saw on Perez Hilton the headline: ‘Lily and Lindsay copy Rihanna.’ ”
The deal was that she didn’t know that the inking was already quite famously sported by Rihanna, who was going out and about with her Bad Gal identity.
Of course, the vocalist did have a fight with Lindsay Lohan about this later!
