The Southport stabbing incident at a Taylor Swift-themed dance workshop has got a major lead in ongoing investigations as the British police have charged a 17-year-old with murder charges.

As per the New York Post the accusations were made as far-right violence left the traumatised town of Southport in ruins and as protesters fuelled by hate speech and false information engaged in combat with police close to the prime minister Keir Starmer’s London home.

A summer holiday dance and yoga class with a Taylor Swift theme was attacked on Monday.

The youngster, who has not been named due to his age, is accused of three counts of murder and ten counts of attempted murder, according to Merseyside Police.

Later on Thursday, he is scheduled to appear in court in Liverpool.

Approximately two dozen children were attending the summer vacation class when an attacker armed with a knife stormed in.

Alice Dasilva Aguiar, 9, Bebe King, 6, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, 7, all died as a result of their injuries and ten people were hurt, including five girls and two adults in critical condition.

Far-right demonstrators clashed with police outside a mosque in Southport on Tuesday, claiming they were responding to the attack.
