Prince William has reportedly been left 'furious' following Donald Trump’s recent comments, in which he allegedly blamed Princess Kate for a scandal.
The Prince of Wales was reportedly incensed with the former US President for saying Kate "only [had] herself to blame" after she was seen in a topless photo.
According to a royal spokesman, the "grotesque and unjustifiable invasion of privacy" that a magazine published topless images of Kate caused the Prince and Princess of Wales great sadness.
Robert Jobson wrote in his new book: "William was reportedly furious when Donald Trump tweeted, ‘Kate Middleton is great – but she shouldn’t be sunbathing in the nude – only herself to blame, adding ‘Who wouldn’t take Kate’s picture and make lots of money if she does the nude sunbathing thing? Come on Kate!’"
Jobson added: "The entire affair had left the duchess feeling ‘violated’."
To note, Kate’s photos were published in the French magazine Closer, which reacted by stating that the pair was "visible from the street" and that the pictures were "not in the least shocking".
Moreover, the esponsible were penalised after it was ultimately determined that the couple's privacy had been violated.
