He has successfully achieved a huge number of followers on YouTube and other social media platforms, who admire his impeccable comic timings, signature humor and commentary over pop culture for years.

After receiving immense praise for his comics on hit drama serials, Meray Paas Tum Ho and Yeh Dil Mera, the super talented Arslan has finally stepped into the entertainment industry with acting debut in Ramazan special drama serial Chupke Chupke.

Recently, in conversation with Something Haute, Arslan discussed about his journey as a content creator and how he got a big debut project for TV with an ensemble cast.

He shared that he began producing content for digital platform and realized that mobile viewing experience is very private and individual. “During that time when we used to watch only bad and shocking news on TV screens, I thought why not create something fun and lighthearted that can become a part of our news feeds.”

“I had a skill to draw comics so I made something and asked a friend if it made him laugh; he said Yes and then I just uploaded it,” he shared.

Living and studying for his professional education in abroad for 7 to 8 years, Arslan decided to move back to Pakistan. “I was working here when I started CBA. People were attracted to my content perhaps because it was something unique; there was no digital comics culture in Pakistan.”

Talking about his unique comics, Arslan shared, “I call my content spoof, not reviews because I give it a humorous touch. There is a line between spoof and insult; I try not to cross it so that those who are the subject of my videos can also laugh at it.”

He also emphasized that he use decent language in his spoofs rather than vulgar remarks which are quite common in roasting videos.

Speaking of his latest acting venture, the com8ic artist revealed that he got acting offers from Bollywood as well but he never gave it a thought. “Last year, I got a call from MD Productions and when I got to know that the script is by Suno Chanda’s writer, I was half sold because it is the first Pakistani drama I watched and thoroughly enjoyed. Then, I got to know Danish Nawaz is directing it and the story as well was interesting. I went into it thinking that the shooting will wrap in 45 days and then 10 days into the shoot, everything came to a standstill due to the pandemic,” said Arslan.
