On Tuesday, Pakistani singer Farhad Humayun passed away at the age of 42. His old friend, singer Ali Zafar took to Twitter and wrote an emotional note for him.
Zafar shared a photo of him and Humayun and wrote, “Good bye old friend. You were an inspiration for so many. Your contribution to music and in people’s lives cannot be defined in a few lines.”
He added, “You were more than a musician and a performer...you were a fighter... destined for greatness and great you were. R.I.P #farhadhumayun.”
The cause of Humayun’s death is not known, however, the late singer revealed in 2018 that he was getting operated for brain tumor.
