King Charles III has delivered a powerful speech to both houses of Italy's parliament during his four-day state visit.
On Wednesday, the British monarch held a private meeting with Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and also enjoyed a performance of Shakespeare's Othello.
The Royal Family shared details about the royal engagement on Instagram Stories.
“At the Mattatoio, The King engaged with dramatic arts students, and watched a short Shakespeare performance in Italian, celebrating the influence of the renowned playwright and poet on Italian culture,” the caption of the post read.

Later on, Charles gave a speech to the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Republic.
By delivering the speech, he made history and became the first British monarch to address both houses of Italy's parliament.
His majesty said, "It is a signal honour to have been asked to speak to you all this afternoon. The first time that a British sovereign has addressed the entire Italian Parliament, this fundamental democratic institution."
Moreover, Queen Camilla and Charles also celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary during this trip.
To note, the royal couple married in a civil ceremony in Windsor on April 9, 2005.
