Prince Harry's lawyer has warned the High Court that the Duke of Sussex’s "life is at stake" due to the removal of his full taxpayer-funded security protection.

He is seeking to overturn a decision that stripped him of automatic state security after his withdrawal from royal duties in 2020.

As per GB News, Shaheed Fatima KC claimed during the last hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, "One must not forget the human dimension to this case. There is a person sitting behind me whose safety, whose security, and whose life is at stake."

She continued, “There is a person sitting behind me who is being told he is getting a special bespoke process when he knows and has experience of a process that is manifestly inferior in every respect.”

"The appellant does not accept that bespoke means better. In fact, in his position, it means he has been singled out for different, inferior treatment," Fatima further noted.

Harry has claimed during the court session that he was "singled out" for "inferior treatment" when the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) removed his top-level security in February 2020.

The Duke of Sussex’s court appearance was briefly disrupted when a supporter shouted words of support, and his security quickly escorted him out of the hearing.
