King Charles and Queen Camilla shared heartfelt moments after landing in Ravenna for the final leg of their Italian tour.

This trip marks the 17th official visit by the British monarch to Italy and his first overseas trip 0f 2025 as he battles cancer.

On April 10, the King, 76, and Queen, 77, landed in Ravenna to take part in a ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the city's liberation from Nazi occupation.

The romantic couple can be seen warmly greeting the public and holding hands in the viral pictures.

Royal Family also shared key details about the final leg of the Italy tour.


The statement read, “Today, Their Majesties are in Ravenna! The King and Queen began the day celebrating Italy’s most famous poet, Dante Alighieri, by visiting his tomb and joining locals for a reading from the ‘Divine Comedy’.”

It continued, “Every evening at sunset, volunteers gather on the steps of Dante’s Tomb to recite a canto from his epic poem as part of a project called the ‘Perpetual Reading of the Divine Comedy’. This special tradition, launched by the Mayor of Ravenna in 2021 to mark the 700th anniversary of Dante’s death, continues to bring his work to life.”

Notably, Charles and Camilla’s Italy trip coincided with their 20th wedding anniversary celebration.
