Telugu star Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari is reportedly out on bail and back on the set of Pushpa: The Rule with superstar Allu Arjun.
According to Indian publication Pinkvilla, Bandari was arrested late last year on charges of abetment of suicide, leading to major production delays on the sets of Pushpa, including many rescheduling of shoot days because of his absence.
Bandari, who plays the role of Pushpa’s loyal aide Kesava in the mega-hit franchise, was reportedly allowed to return to work amid the serious allegations against him with the help of Pushpa’s production house; as per reports, the team helped in his release so key sequences could be shot.
Jagadeesh Bandari’s arrest
Jagadeesh Bandari was arrested after being accused of pushing a woman he was allegedly dating to commit suicide after threatening to release her intimate photos. He was taken under custody on December 6 after the woman’s family filed an official complaint against him.
