Saif Ali Khan is reportedly working on a Netflix film named Jewel Thief with director Siddharth Anand signed as the producer.
Few days back, Pinkvilla had said that Saif has joined hands with actor Jaideep Ahlawat for an upcoming action thriller, and now the same media mortal has informed that director Robbie Grewal is roped in, too.
A close source has disclosed that the film isn’t related to Dev Anand’s 1967 picture of the same name.
According to them, Siddharth just believes that Jewel Thief is a suitable title for the storyline, which is based on a heist where the two leads come to blows with each other.
It has also been revealed that the shooting schedule has now been concluded.
The movie is currently running through the editing phase and will soon be available for streaming this year.
Saif has previously worked with Siddharth in Hum Tum, Salaam Namaste, and Ta Ra Rum Pum. This is the duo’s reunion after 17 years and their first time collaborating on a genre other than romcom.
Speaking to Pinkvilla earlier, the producer said that they were doing a "quirky picture" together.
