Arjun Kapoor has been introduced as the next villain in Rohit Shetty’s blockbuster franchise, Singham.
After Prakash Raj, Amole Gupte, Sonu Sood, and Abhimanyu Singh, the actor will lead the cop universe’s group of bad guys next with a much gorier character.
On February 14, Rohit shared two bloody pictures on Instagram debuting Arjun’s first look.
Signifying his fresh antagonist’s horrifying guts, he wrote, “Human commits mistake, and gets his deserved punishment… But the one who comes now, he is the devil!”
Posting these same images on his own profile, Arjun expressed, “Feeling on top of the world! I promise you there will be mayhem.”
With Ishaqzaade, Gunday, and Tevar, the star has made quite a name in action movies, but this is the first time in his filmography that he has been signed as a villain.
Earlier, it was reported by Filmfare that actress Deepika Padukone will be seen as his on-screen sister.
On one hand, fans are excited to see how masterfully Rohit directs a performer who has no experience in playing a brutal wrongdoer before.
On the other, some are disappointed to see him follow into the footsteps of other movie-makers, who have been glorifying evil to make their pictures work these days.
