Aamir Khan’s Dangal co-star, Suhani Bhatnagar, passed away on the morning of Saturday, February 17.
She was only 19-years-old, and according to Zee News, was unwell for the past few months.
While the reason for her sickness hasn’t been officially disclosed, it was said that the actress was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Science, where she was being treated for fluid accumulation in the body.
This was an infection caused by a reaction from an unknown medication.
Suhani had made her big screen debut with the 2016 biopic, Dangal, alongside Zaira Wasim.
In the movie, she played the younger version of professional wrestler Babita Phogat, who was the daughter of Mahavir Phogat.
While Zaira had quit Bollywood a while later, there was no such news regarding Suhani, although she didn’t appear in any productions later on.
The young star however maintained an Instagram account where she often floated pictures for her followers, but that also went inactive over two years ago.
Last post is a selfie of hers dated November 25, 2021. It’s possible that the profile will now be archived by Meta in Suhani’s loving memory.
