Sara Ali Khan, who is seemingly in an awe of her Netflix film Murder Mubarak, released on March 15, 2024, accused other Bollywood actresses of copying her style.
During her recent interview with the Hindustan Times, the Zara Hatke Zara Bachke actress recalled how seeing other heroines following her signature greeting style made Sara feel initially.
“It used to bother me when I used to think that I was being copied. Like this whole namaste, it’s not like an act,” Sare told the outlet.
She continued, “I genuinely greet people like that, and suddenly it became a template that every girl was doing,”
Sara further admitted that it does not bother her anymore as she is sure that her fans are aware of her style, “This wearing Indian clothes at the airport and going with wet hair and all like it used to irritate me when other girls used to do it. But, I realized that my audience know it’s me.”
She playfully added, “It’s fine, now it doesn’t bother me anymore. They write also, they are copying Sara. Now I find it amusing. Now I’m like, ‘its ok you do it too’.”
The Love Aaj Kal 2 actress starred as Bambi in Murder Mubarak, alongside a ensemble cast, including the likes of Karisma Kapoor, Pankaj Tripati, Anil Kapoor and Vijay Varma.
