Amitabh Bachchan, who just made headlines for being hospitalized and undergoing angioplasty denied the reports of his health scare, calling them a “fake news.”
The 81-year-old actor appeared in good health as he attended the final match of the Indian Street Premiere League (ISPL) between Majhi Mumbai, which is co-owned by Amitabh and the Tigers of Kolkata on March 15, 2024.
In a video shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, Amitabh Bachchan was spotted having a brief interaction with paparazzo while he was leaving the Street2Stadium.
Amitabh could be seen telling the reporter “He was fine” using a hand gesture, however, within few seconds, he leans forwards and says, “fake news” before exiting.
Later on, the Paa actor turned to his Instagram account and expressed his thoughts on meeting the cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, who was also in attendance at the ISPL finals.
Alongside a candid photo of him with son Abhishek and Tendulkar, Amitabh penned a warm caption, noting, “What a humbling experience this evening at the ISPL FINALS, to have spent time with the GREAT SACHIN .. and to learn and admire his incredible knowledge about Cricket.”

This update comes hours after the news of Amitabh Bachchan’s hospitalization and angioplasty broke, revealing that the Black actor was taken to Kokilaben hospital, after suffering from shortness of breath.
Report also suggested that Amitabh was fine after he went through angioplasty on doctor’s recommendation.
To note, Amitabh Bachchan’s ISPL team was defeated by Saif Ali Khan’s Tigers of Kolkata.
