Megan Fox, who has undergone drastic transformation during her career, opened up about cosmetic procedures, like breast implants and nose jobs.
During an interview with the Vanity Fair, Fox did not hesitate to speak about her decision to get breast augmentation earlier in her career, and also shared her opinion on the plastic surgery.
"When I was young, I thought it was a necessity to look a certain way to be accepted in this industry," Fox told the outlet.
She continued, "But as I've grown older, I've realized the importance of embracing who you are and being comfortable in your own skin."
The Transformers actress also addressed rumors surrounding a possible nose job, admitting that she had indeed undergone rhinoplasty to address breathing issues rather than solely for cosmetic reasons.
"It wasn't about changing my appearance to fit a certain ideal of beauty, but rather about improving my quality of life," she said.
Throughout the interview, Fox emphasized the importance of body autonomy and self-acceptance.
She encouraged people to make choices based on their own desires and well-being rather than surrendering to societal pressures.
"I think it's crucial for people to understand that cosmetic procedures are a personal choice," Fox noted.
The Jennifer’s Body actress added, "What's most important is feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin, whether you choose to undergo surgery or not."
