Sajal Aly pens her sentiments on being awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz!
The Yaqeen Ka Safar superstar took home the civilian honor on Saturday, March 23, 2024, for her Zee5 web series Dhoop Ki Deewar, in which she promoted Pak-India peace amid ongoing tensions in the region.
Taking to her Instagram on Saturday, Aly dropped the video of receiving the prestigious award from the Governor of Punjab Baligh Ur Rehman.
The footage showcased the Mom starlet basking in happiness as the host called her on stage.
Aly also penned the caption to express her gratitude, “I am truly blessed and humbled to receive Tamgha-e-Imtiaz. My heartfelt thanks go out to God, family & my fans."
While giving a shout-out to her late mother's struggle, she added, "I owe everything to my mother her hard work and prayers have brought me to where I am today."
"I am committed to making her proud through my continued hard work and determination," Aly concluded.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hay starlet also won the Filmfare Middle East awards for her outstanding performance in 2021.
Alongside Sajal Aly, Adnan Siddiqui and Juggan Kazim also received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.
