Matty Healy isn't feeling tortured over Taylor Swift's latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.
Taylor released her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, on April 19, 2024.
Fans think one of her songs, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived, might be dissing Matty Healy.
Recently, when paparazzi in Los Angeles asked Matty about the rumored "diss track" aimed at him on Taylor Swift's album, he reacted to it.
Matty chuckled and said, "My diss track? Oh! I haven't really listened to that much of it, but I'm sure it's good,"
Although Taylor Swift's double album probably talks about their relationship, but it doesn't directly mention Matty by name.
Previously Matty’s aunt, Debbie Dedes, expressed confidence that the Matty wouldn't be fazed by Taylor Swift's songs.
In a chat with Daily Mail, Debbie Dedes shared about him that “Nothing surprises him any more.”
She also addressed, “He will not be surprised by the song. Him and her know what went on.”
“[Taylor] writes about all her relationships, doesn't she? I don't think it will come as a shock to [Matty] at all,” Debbie continued to share.
Taylor Swift's album includes references to Matty, particularly on the track Guilty as Sin where she mentions receiving The Blue Nile's 1989 synth-pop song The Downtown Lights, a band Matty has hailed as his "favourite band of all time."
