Taylor Swift has made headlines due to her absence from the 2024 Met Gala with her boyfriend Travis Kelce.
However, some reports suggested that the Lover would make an appearance at the biggest fashion event, but she will skip the event because she will be preparing for her Eras Tour European leg and busy with its rehearsals, which is set to kick off on May 09 in Paris.
The Met Gala, which typically takes place on the first Monday in May, will be held on May 6, which would have been a tight schedule for Swift, 34, before the tour.
Earlier TMZ reported that the Fortnight singer and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, would skip the Met Gala this year.
Swift has previously attended the coveted event six times (the most recent in 2016), whereas Kelce is yet to make his debut.
The Tortured Poets Department songstress made her appearance at the event six times before donning the designer pieces including Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta, J. Mendel and Badgley Mischka.
Other celebrities who will grace the event include Rihanna, Kendall Jenner, Gisele Bündchen, and more.
