Sobhita Dhulipala has lately been desiring to be hired for an action or a period movie.

Speaking out her love for picking up new skill sets, she told Hindustan Times that her brain is currently set to an artistic mode.

“At the moment, I’m in an inspired state of mind,” she said, “I’m working on my skill set, I’d love to do an action film. I’d absolutely love to do period cinema. I have a special love for them. Maybe that’s why I obsessively train in MMA and classical dance everyday.”

The celebrity quickly turned into someone with a rising name after starring as Tara Khanna in Made in Heaven.

Since then, she has been signed for bigger productions, such as Kurup, Ponniyin Selvan, and her latest Hollywood debut film, Monkey Man, whose trailer was released yesterday.

Posting the video for her followers on Instagram, a proud Sobhita wrote, “An absolute joy to share the trailer,” as she announced the release date to be on 5th April globally.


Enticing fans, the actor revealed that she is reading a couple of exciting scripts and will be making some special announcements soon. “I have my fingers crossed,” she chanted.
