Deepika Padukone, who first sparked pregnancy rumours during her appearance at the 77th BAFTA awards red carpet is reportedly expecting her first child.
As reported by multiple Indian media outlets, an inside source has spilled beans about Deepika’s pregnancy to a local publication, The Week, claiming that the Baajirao Mastani actress is in her second trimester.
This update comes shortly after Deepika Padukone fuelled pregnancy speculations as she was seemingly spotted hiding her midriff in a shimmery saree at 2024 BAFTAs, where she presented the Best Film award to Jonathan Glazer for a polish film, The Zone Of Interest.
The Tamasha actress was a vision in renowned designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee’s saree in golden color, fully embellished with silver shaded sequins.
During her interview with Vogue Singapore in January, the Gehraiyaan actress got candid about embracing motherhood in response to a question about starting family with Ranveer Singh.
“Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family,” she said.
Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone got married in an intimate ceremony on November 14, 2018, at Italy's Lake Como.
The couple, who first met each other on the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic-thriller, Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela,dated for nearly six years before tying the knot.
