Aamir Khan disclosed how Amitabh Bachchan has devoted himself to acting, so much so that even after rehearsing a script for 200 times once, he was still dissatisfied with the take.

At the ABP Majha event interaction, a host jokingly stated that newcomers can be asked to rehearse easily.

Protesting to this, Aamir responded by saying, “I rehearse more than anybody else, bro. I just remembered a story. I was shooting for Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. It was my first film, and we were shooting in Film City.”

“I was sitting in my makeup room with Reena (Dutta) and my cousins Nuzhat and Raj Zutshi. We had a break of 1-2 hours and then we had to give a night shot,” he added.

The star recalled another movie being filmed nearby, and it featured the legendary Amitabh practicing non-stop!

He remarked, “We could hear the lights being set up. Then we heard an actor rehearsing his line. He must have repeated the same line 100-200 times. I stepped out and saw that it was Amit Ji.”

Aamir had been a huge fan of the Kaala Patthar lead, so walked to his room and started observing him by taking a seat in the corner.

“He was so focused. Gave around 8-10 takes. It was a long shot. No monitor. When it was done, the crew was ready to move on, but Amit ji went to Prakash ji and asked, ‘I didn’t speak too fast, right?’ He was still stuck,” the actor continued.

Noting it as a lesson he earned pretty earlier in his profession, he concluded by saying that an actor doesn’t have limits when it comes to rehearsals.
