
The Hollywood actress Rebel Wilson breaks silence on her brief experience with Ozempic, a drug used for weight loss.
In an in interview with Sunday Times, the Rebel Rising: A Memoir author reveals that she tried Ozempic for maintenance after slimming down.
Wilson stated, “Someone like me could have a bottomless appetite for sweets, so I think those drugs can be good.”
Her decision to lose weight came as soon as a family doctor asked her to do so for a better try at IVF.
The Pain and Gain actor further explained, “Basically no one apart from my mom wanted me to lose weight.”
She continued, “People thought I’d lose my pigeonhole in my career, playing the fat funny character, and they wanted me to continue in that.”
Rebel Wilson further noted, “I feel strongly that young women shouldn’t try to obsess over looking like Victoria’s Secret models — they should just look like themselves. I know that my relationship with food is complicated.”
