| It
isn't unusual for artists to take beautiful actresses as their muses
– remember M.F Hussein's addiction to Madhuri Dixit? This time
Arjun Prajapati, an award winning sculptor and owner of Arjun Art
Gallery, Jaipur has announced that he will be making 25 statues of
Aishwarya Rai. "A divine lady appeared in my dreams and suggested
me to make sculptures of a beautiful woman. She told me that it would
give me recognition across the country," Arjun Prajapati said,
and to ensure maximum publicity, chose none other than Aishwarya Rai
as the beautiful woman . "Each week I conceived a new pose of
Aishwarya in my dreams and I worked on each of them. I would soon
complete 25 different poses of the actress," Prajapati added.
Once the work is over, he plans to hold an exhibition of the statues
in Mumbai and hopes superstar Amitabh Bachchan would agree to inaugurate
it. Prajapati has also stated that he will not be putting up the statues
for sale as they are meant to fulfill a creative urge only. It should
be interesting to see the pieces of art unfold, especially since the
publicity they'll earn him will probably be much greater that money
ever could. Bollywood has become a priceless pie and |

enough, everyone wants a piece of it. |

| Who
wants John Abraham 12 months a year? |
| |
| Despite
films like Water, Baabul and Kabul Express, we're still not convinced
that John Abraham is much of an actor. What we are convinced of, however,
is that he's ruggedly handsome and is a very stylish youth icon. Seems
like John agrees because not only has he launched a calendar of himself
– making him the first Indian actor to be so self indulgent
– but he has also lent his name to Wrangler for a line of jeans.
The calendar, he believes is a great idea, hoping that the public
will be able to bear his face for the next 12 months. It's has black
and white shots of him against a Goan backdrop and according to photographer
Subi Samuel, focuses on the important S's in John's life: Sand, Sun,
Sea, Skin and Sex appeal. As for two equally important B's being Bipasha
and Bikes, John grins while saying, "Yes, but two B's –
body and baal (hair) are present in abundance! The concept was that
it was a calendar about me, so they wanted me and my body and no one
else and no props." Yes, yes we understand John. After being
termed one of the most happening actors of 2006 it seems like you're
getting too 'Big' to share the limelight these days…

| Casino
Royale tops Bond Box Office |
| |
Pirates,
mutants, superheroes, dragons and spies…as far as Hollywood
is concerned, 2006 was big for all things imaginative. The year was
action packed with Superman Returns, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead
Man's Chest, X Men: The Last Stand and the biggest surprise of all,
Casino Royale. This 21st Bond feature has officially been declared
the most successful Bond film ever as it has passed the 575 million
dollar mark in the global box office sales. It was competing with
Die Another Day, which managed to gross 431 million dollars in 2002.
This also makes the blond haired unconventional Bond Craig Daniels
an immediate hit. There |

a lot of speculation regarding his casting but he sure has proven
everyone wrong. We're sure that everyone who has seen him rise out
of the sea like a modern day Adonis will agree. |
