King Charles III has reportedly asked Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer and his wife, Victoria Starmer, to take special responsibility ahead of a crucial state visit.
His Majesty, who is set to welcome the United States of America’s President Donald Trump and his life partner, Melania Trump, next week, has given special instructions to the PM and the first lady.
According to an exclusive report by The Telegraph, the 76-year-old British monarch asked the politician to welcome the first lady, the wife of Trump and Melania.
Notably, after the 79-year-old President touches down in the UK on Tuesday, September 16, he will be welcomed by the entire British Royal Family a day after his arrival for the official second unprecedented visit.
On the second day of the visit, when the King and his wife, Queen Camilla, join Sir Keir for a flypast at Windsor Castle on Wednesday afternoon, there too will be Lady Starmer.
During the guard of honour ceremony on the third day of Trump’s state trip at the grand entrance of Chequers on Thursday morning, both the Starmers will be waiting.
Later, the couple will be entertained by Prince William, and Kate Middleton will entertain, and the Princess will take the first lady to meet the leader of the Scouts.
