
Prominent Pakistan singer-turned-actor Ali Zafar has released his latest musical creation, song Hum Mazdoor to pay tribute to the labour workforce for the country.
On the International Labour Day, the Teefa In Trouble star took to his Instagram handle to share the latest song.
He noted that the song is a tribute to the hard working, dedicated community of Pakistan, who despite living in difficult economic conditions, work for the development of their beloved country.
Sharing the song with his fans and followers on Instagram, the Ve Mahiya crooner penned a heartfelt tribute to the labour community. He wrote, “Hum Mazdoor | A tribute to the labourer.” He went on to say, “This Labour Day we pay tribute to the hard work, dedication and the indomitable spirit of our labour workforce who are facing extreme economic hardships during the coronavirus pandemic.”
“As we celebrate the labour that built up this great land from field to field, desk to desk, and hand in hand we must not forget the role of women whose struggle against odds is a source of inspiration for all,” he added.
The song is written and composed by Rehman Faris, and music by Hassan Badshah, while the music video is directed by Ahsan Asghar.
In his Instagram post, the Jhoom singer has acknowledged the contribution of Ahmed, Khizar, Syed Owais Shah, Mubashir, Farwa Hassan Rizvi, Taha Sadaqat, @iamcaros and Billu Production.
