India Covid crisis: Kangana Ranaut calls Pakistan’s support for India is ‘heartwarming’

Reacting to the Twitter trend, #PakistanStandsWithIndia, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut shared a tweet on Saturday and appreciated Pakistan’s support for India amid the horrifying crisis of COVID-19.

Amid the third wave of coronavirus, India reported the world's highest record of COVID-19 cases for the second day on Friday, surpassing 330,000 new cases.

The Indian healthcare system has been overwhelmed by patients and plagued by accidents. Following the reports and heart wrenching footages that surfaced on the internet, many Pakistanis have sent their prayers to their neighbours.

The Queen starlet applauded Pakistani social media users for expressing solidarity with India. In a tweet, she has commended Pakistan for expressing solidarity with its neighbor country.

The Manikarnika actress wrote, “Heartwarming to see the top trend from Pakistan #PakistanstandswithIndia. #(brave son of India, Modi) provided the country with vaccine nice to see them appreciate his kindness and reciprocate with love, we too acknowledge their empathy in these testing times."

Earlier, Faisal Edhi, son of renowned philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi and chairman of the Edhi Foundation, penned a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which he expressed his concern on the Covid-19 crisis underway in India and offered his help to address the crisis.
