Samantha Akkineni spills beans on lesser known facts of her life

Actress Samantha Akkineni revealed her journey of life was filled with struggles interspersed with luck.

The actress made her Bollywood debut in the film Family Man 2. She played the role of a Sri Lankan Tamil girl, named Raji.

Her versatile and natural performance in the film gained her immense recognition. Fans showered her with appreciation.

She starred in super hit Tamil and Telugu films such as U-Turn, Super Deluxe and Oh! Baby.

Samantha faced a financial crunch in her twenties. She did odd jobs and stepped into the industry out of necessity and not out of choice. She modeled and gradually ventured into films. She was the only one from her family to have appeared on screen.

The actress later established her own online fashion brand named Saaki, which offered a range of ethnic and fusion wear for women.

She made her acting debut in Gautham Menon’s Telugu film Ye Maaya Chesave which in turn gained massive success at the box Office.

She received the Filmfare Award for Best Debut actress and a Nandi Award.

As far as her education was concerned, Samantha did her schooling from Chennai. She was a topper in school.

On the other hand, the famed actress is the sole owner of an NGO named Pratyusha which provides free medical aid to women and children.
