Recently, Speaker of National Assembly, Asad Qaiser visited Turkey and met lead cast and producer of popular period drama Diriliş: Ertuğrul. He also invited the team to come to Pakistan and meet Prime Minister Imran Khan to discuss the upcoming Pak-Turk joint production venture.
The NA speaker thanked the team and wrote, “Walking through the set of #kurulusOsman has been a joyful experience for us. I shall always cherish the hospitality and warmth given to us in Turkey. We are grateful for the love with which you hosted us.”
He also met Burak Özçivit and tweeted, “It was a pleasure to met with @burakozcivit from #KurulusOsman. I throughly enjoy watching period pieces in the little time I get. Hoping Kurulus: Osman to be another memorable watch [sic].”
